MSTC Limited overview


MSTC, a Government of India, the company is active in domestic and international trade over 30 years. He was the Canalis agency for imports from India and fusion carbon Scrap Sponge Iron / Hot briquettes and scrap iron Re-roll power in February, 1992. It was also Canalis office for old ships to break. The company specializes in international trade of ferrous metals and raw materials imported millions of tons of scrap iron, old vessels rupture, sponge iron, hot iron briquettes, Re-roll to scrap etc. It also carried thousands of tons of scrap, jute products etc. The company is committed to the sale of scrap and other integrated steel plants, engineering companies, refineries, power plants, coal and Transportation, Defense and other government departments or private sector organizations in the domestic market. The company has paid up capital of Rs 2.20 crores and reserves of over Rs 47 crores.

The company has two divisions:

Marketing Division

This division largely import and export of steel scrap carbon fusion, and now the expansion of imports of steel / coal and coke, and other non-traditional Sko, non - ferrous alloys and ferrous articles.

The volume of imports in the year 2003-04 was Rs 3400 Crore in 2004-05 and is expected to be Rs 5000 Crore.

CSTM with its network of 8 offices across India, and its policy of working on a very small margin in a unique position to assist traders in international markets and customers over the long term.

Agency Division

The department is responsible for removing all kinds of scrap iron and steel plants and disposal of debris and used stores, rejected wastes, etc, and surplus items from more than 150 public sector enterprises and departments. The company also has a Division of Management Services divisions regular feedback on market research. Of the company and headquartered in Calcutta and has four regional offices in Calcutta, Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai. In addition, the company has offices in Bangalore, Vizag, Bhopal, Vadodara, Surat and Trichy.
