History of Burdwan Raj College
The origins of the Order is so far back in 1817, when Maharaja Tej Chand founded an Anglo-vernacular school in the premises of his palace in Burdwan. It was expanded and renamed "High School by Maharaja Mahatab Chand in 1854. Despite the revival of Bengal slowly transforming the social fabric, Burdwan remains quite indifferent to higher education to English Aftab Chand was the Maharaja of Burdwan 1881. In the same year he was transferred to the school and liberal arts courses Natunganj introduced in accordance with the consent of the University of Calcutta and the new unit called Maharaja's College. The school was eventually named " Raj Collegiate School and the College 'Burdwan Raj College.

IIFA Awards winners 2009 | Bollywood IIFA Awards winners 2009

The 10th IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) for the award ceremony was held in 2009 in Macau, China. Big names in Bollywood transcending all about this beautiful island of China. The ceremony took place in the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel in Macau (also known as Macao).
Bach Mr. Chan came to the station in a gondola. Something he had not done for thirty years. The Ambassador of IIFA, Amitabh Bachchan said: "On behalf IIFA, I thank everyone in Macau and China to receive the 10th stage IIFA to this beautiful destination."
During the three day event, several stars, including Sonam Kapoor, Anuksha Sharma and Australian pop star Peter Andre. He was upset by Chan and Mr. Bach said: "You, sir (see Notes and Amitabh) ... are a great way to talk and listen to everybody ... you have a fantastic voice. Mr. President, you are great. "

Mumbai, March 17, 2009: BPL Mobile, Mumbai's oldest and oldest brand of mobile services is now Loop Mobile, the new brand of telecommunications in the city. The new brand identity for BPL Mobile, Mumbai, serving more than 13 years today. It is already more than 2 million subscribers. The new logo â € "Loop Mobile is designed taking into account the growth and re-apply BPL Mobile as a new brand.
Loop Mobile is a new network. Central Bank of India Overview and Job News

Founded in 1911, the Central Bank of India was the first Indian commercial bank wholly owned and managed by Indians. The creation of the Bank was the ultimate fulfillment of the dream of Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala, founder of the Bank. Sir Pherozesha Mehta was the first president of a real "Swadesh Bank. In fact, the extent of pride felt by Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala he proclaims that the Central Bank of India as the property of the nation and the country. He added that the Central Bank of India on the lives of people of faith and sees himself as the people's own bank.

During the last 98 years of history, the Bank has weathered many storms and many challenges. The Bank may succeed in turning threats into opportunities for business and excelled on his colleagues in the banking sector.

A number of innovative and unique banking activities initiated by the Central Bank of India and a brief description of some of its edge:

1921 Introduction to Home Security System savings savings construction / savings patterns in all sectors of society.
A 1924 Exclusive Ladies Department at the Bank women.
1926 installation of lockers and security Rupee travelers checks.
1929 Creation of the Executor and Trustee Department.
1932 benefit plan for deposit insurance.
1962 Result deposit scheme.

Then, even after the nationalization of the bank during the year 1969, the Central Bank for a number of banking services in:

1976 The cell bank established.
1980 Central Card, Bank credit card was introduced.
1986 "Platinum Jubilee Money Back Deposit Scheme 'was launched.
1989 Housing Bank subsidiary Cent Home Finance Ltd has started with its headquarters at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
1994 Quick Check Collection Service (CCQ) and Express Service is established to the rapid recovery of the checkpoint.

In addition, in accordance with the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India and the Government of India, the Central Bank plays an increasingly active in promoting the key thrust areas of agriculture, small industries, as well as medium and large industries. The Bank is also a number of independent programs to promote employment among young people.

One public sector banks, the Central Bank of India May be described as a real All India Bank, due to its wide distribution network in 27 of 28 states and 4 of the 7 territories of the Union of India. Central Bank of India has a very good place among public sector banks as part of its network of 3413 branches and 237 counters at various centers across the length and breadth of the country.

In light of the extensive network of branches, and the number of savings and other innovative services, the total number of banking customers in more than 25 million account holders is one of the most important the banking sector.

Customer confidence in the Central Bank of India, the services in May very well be judged from the list of major companies like Icici, IDBI, UTI, LIC, HDFC almost all major business houses in the country .


New Initiatives / News / Practices


Operating income for the bank rose 13.28% to Rs. 1436.74 crore in 2008-09 on operating income of Rs. 1268.30 crore in 2007-08.


The net profit of the Bank has increased in 2008-09 to Rs 571.24 crore up to 3.83% on net profit of Rs 550.16 crore in 2007-08.


Net income per employee in March 2009 rose to Rs 1.71 lacs to Rs.1.56 LACS in March 2008.


The Bank has launched a special housing loans in January 2009 to 8.5% interest for five years. The rate was reduced to 8% for a period of one year.


A deposit scheme for children up to age 12 was launched in the "Bal Bhavishya Cent" arrangement with an insurance wrap in December 2008.


During the current year, the Bank Visa Gold and Visa Platinum card.


Bank has received "Best Education Loan Provider" and the second prize for "Best Home Loan Provider" by Outlook Money NDTV Profit Awards 2008 ".


Bank ranks first among all partners of Banc of insurance Life Insurance Company of India.
